Abû Bakr al-Siddîq RA said:

I will not leave anything Allâh’s Messenger – Allâh’s peace and blessings be upon him – did, except that I will also do it; for I fear that if I were to leave any of his commands and ways I would deviate.

Ahlul Bait on Abu Bakr (RA)

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : ” وَلِينَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَكَانَ خَيْرَ خَلِيفَةِ اللَّهِ ، وَأَرْحَمَهُ بِنَا ، وَأَحْنَاهُ عَلَيْنَا ” . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ الإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

 

Imam Baqir narrates from Abdullah ibn Jafar that he said : Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه) became our ruler, and he was the best caliph of Allah, and he was the most merciful and kind upon us.
